Changing NetCDF flags breaks compilation on lmarr

I tried adding the -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE options to NetCDF build and now the icon, bcon and cctm models don't build. Still plugging away...

Aargh, what is going on? I was able to get several hours into VISTAS on Suse and then crashed due to convergence errors. I assume you've confirmed that it all works fine for the tutorial case.

Glad to see the progress on System X!

I think I'm more likely to get a working CMAQ on System X because of IBM's xlf. There's documentation for CMAQ on Mac OS with xlf, but none that I can find for CMAQ on Linux with ifort, so I have someone to hold my hand. My time right now is about 2/3rds System X (and making progress) and 1/3rd Redhat (and not making much headway).

I now have a vague recollection that I had to use an older version of netCDF to get it to work.
